French Riviera Beaches

Beach is the term that naturally belongs to the French Riviera and France. Cities and towns like Cannes, Monaco, St. Tropez, Antibes, Nice and more and more are synonyms for beautiful and famous beaches. Today this area is packed with luxury hotels and villas, but still some hidden beaches can be  found on the French Riviera. Also you can very often sea a private beach where hottest holywood stars can be spotted.

Some of the most popular or famous beaches are: Plage Port Grimaud, Plage des Graniers, Plage de la Bouillabaisse and Plage des Jumeaux. Very special beach is Plage de Tahity with clothing optional policy. 

Another one is Plage de Pampellone which is more than 3 miles long with many hotels.

Beaches on the Cote dŽAzur are sandy with medium grain with some coral and loam mix.

While on the beach you can visit many boutiques, open air markets, buy some wine or food near the beach, or you can visit yach harbours and rent a boat.

Cote dŽAzur beaches are crowded during summer months (July & August) because that is the main holiday and vacation season for French families and also other Europeans who comes to France for a vacation. So to enjoy beaches the most it is the best to come in June and September.
