Ville de Nice
Ville de Nice is in south of France
on the French Riviera
(Cote dazur) coast in Provence between Menton and Marseille. It had 933,000 citizens in 1999. The
city is a tourist resort. Ville de Nice belongs to the Alpes Maritimes
department.
Climate: There
is sunny and mild day weather all year. The mediterranean climate is the
reason for warm summers and winters with temperatures hardly reaching
freezing point. History: Nice
was founded about 350BC by Greeks and they gave it name Nikaia. Education: Nice
